Mackinaw Island Michigan, wow!

We have visited our first must see place, which is Mackinac Island in Northern Michigan. Its unique characteristic is they don’t allow cars, or any motor powered vehicles. All transportation is by bike and horse, which really forms the vibe of the Island. On a horse drawn carriage tour of the island, we did learn that you can snowmobile to school in the winter. Apparently a lawyer successfully argued in court that riding on snow is not actually the island but above it, I want that guy representing me… should the need arise;-) But the view and and history of the island are also amazing. We took a ferry to the Island with our bikes. There is an 8 mile bike trail around the entire island, which we did as didn’t stop the entire time. Nice work kids! These pictures really show how amazing the island is… enjoy.
